Laurie’s Shoes was founded in 1951 by Wally and Joan Waldman and Joan’s father, Morris Goldman, with a simple goal: offer better service, better selection and a better fit than anyone else.
From the start, the experience was different. Laurie’s focused on carrying a wide range of sizes and widths. Every customer was carefully measured and expertly fit based on their unique feet. That personalized approach quickly became the foundation of the business.
Over the years, Laurie’s became known not just for great shoes, but for its memorable experience. Balloons for kids, cookies for all customers and a level of service that went above and beyond.
75 years and four generations later, that same commitment to selection and service continues to guide everything we do.

Today, the Waldman & Baker family continue to lead the business, blending tradition with new ideas to better serve customers both in-store and online.
